Job Description

Teem, a dynamic and growing company, is seeking an Office and Quickbooks Assistant to support our accounting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office and maintaining accurate records in Quickbooks. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and organized individual to join a team committed to providing exceptional customer service and growing our business.


Responsibilities
  • Maintain the filing system, including scanning, labeling, and organizing invoices, receipts, and other documents.
  • Enter and reconcile transactions in Quickbooks, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and send invoices to customers, following up on payments as necessary.
  • Prepare and process expense reports, verifying accuracy and completeness of receipts and other supporting documentation.
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory, researching new products and vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Provide administrative support, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and making travel arrangements.
  • Assist with special projects as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to tackle new challenges.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Quickbooks, including experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to identify errors and inconsistencies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, customers, and vendors.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information and exercise discretion and good judgment.
