Job Description

At Coastline Equity, we've established a strong reputation in property management and advising. As we continue our rapid expansion, we’re on the hunt for a passionate and experienced Operations Coordinator. In this role, you will have the chance to take the lead in managing a portfolio of properties while fostering the growth of Residential Property Managers and Assistant Residential Property Managers. Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to the Director of Property Management.
  • Lead, supervise, and mentor Residential Property Managers, Assistant Residential Property Managers, and support personnel.
  • Build and nurture relationships within all company departments.
  • Engage and maintain relationships with Owners, tenants, vendors, and contractors.
  • Oversee a portfolio of properties, aided by a full-time Assistant Residential Property Manager.
  • Collaborate closely with other team members on advertising, leasing, maintenance workflow optimization, fee-based services, bidding processes, and property records.
  • Make staff-related recommendations, from recruitment to termination, aligning with Coastline Equity's core values.
  • Generate detailed property status reports as required, supported by Residential Property Management.
  • Uphold the highest standards, ensuring all community, property, management, and client expectations are surpassed.
  • Stay updated with the latest in property management technologies, systems, and procedures.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
  2. At least four (4) years of experience in property operations, especially managing diverse property portfolios.
  3. Proven expertise in training, leading, and mentoring property management teams.
  4. Familiarity with AppFolio property management software is highly desirable.
  5. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  6. Outstanding proficiency in English and exceptional communication skills.
