Note: The position will be located in one of Trocaire’s Central American Offices in Tegucigalpa, Guatemala City or Managua with travel to the other Central American Countries.

The Regional IT Officer in Central America will be one of five Trócaire Regional IT Officers (IT officers are located in Ireland, East Africa, Central and West Africa, Asia and this role in Central America) and will be supported and receive guidance from the IT Operations Team and Enterprise Systems Team in Head Office in Ireland.
The Regional IT Officer in Central America will provide IT services, support, and training to ensure that Trócaire staff in Central America are able to use Trócaire systems effectively and efficiently. IT Services are delivered in line with ITIL best practice and will include the implementation and maintenance of local ICT infrastructure, procurement and provisioning of client devices, provisioning and deprovisioning of user accounts, files and print, information security etc. The IT Officer will also support and provide staff training on Trócaire enterprise applications such as Office365, Salesforce, Box, Commcare, DocuSign and collaboration deployed by Trócaire
Reporting to the Country Director where the position is located with dotted line to the IT Operations and Enterprise Systems teams in Head Office. This is a Fixed Term Contract of 2 years with the possibility of extension subject to performance, priorities, and funds, the position may be extended beyond that period.
